On Christmas eve I got an email and pic from Abigail Spencer! so cool! (she’s amazing as Miss Farrell in Madmen 3rd season) She was so sweet to send us a pic of her and our skull and crossbones gift tags. She was in town shooting the upcoming movie, The Haunting in Georgia. Thanks Abigail and Becca Herbert who took the photo!! (she was visiting a wonderful local shop, Noelie Harmon-fantastic place)

Wow, I received this link from a fellow ILSSA member (Impractical Labor in Service of the Speculative Arts) {a membership organization for those who make experimental or conceptual work with obsolete technology} I didn’t know Kodak made Kodachrome in the late 30s. We’re so used to seeing the depression era photos in black & white, so gothic. Here are a few pics, there are lots more at the website linked above. enjoy-amazing.

How great is it to print for an amazing photographer? really good. Gabe Aceves’s work is extra good, check out his gallery and NEW website. And printing a design that is one of the best I’ve seen in a long time? that’s just pure joy. I love the deers. Gabe’s logo design was created by Ryan at Finch Design.

I had this dream last night about water. and yes, there was a hint of oil in the dream. this photo (saw over at poppytalk) illustrates it pretty amazingly. there’s a hint of freedom, joy, and terror, all at the same time. (pic from monk3y.tumblr)
